國立清華大學於2010年8月1日正式成立亞洲第一個以學習科學為名且公開招生的研究所,以長期以來依附於教育框架下的學習議題為教學研究的核心,一方面呼應國際間以學習觀來思考教與學之本質的思潮(Biesta, 2009),另一方面也積極面對未來世界中,以學習力而非知識量定勝負之競爭型態(韓明媚,2010)中所涉及的學習議題。學習科學領域雖在歐美已有二十多年的歷史,在國內相關討論卻仍非常稀少,諸如學習科學是什麼?它與教育研究有何不同?等質疑仍不絕於耳,故本文盼藉由介紹學習科學的核心議題與研究取向來探討這些問題。
